Olympic-Ready: Custom Cloud Solution for Paris 2024
How Quave ONE created a Paris cloud region for ALLOHOUSTON’s logistics applications during the 2024 Olympic Games.
Infrastructure for an event that would not move
ALLOHOUSTON prepared two logistics applications for companies operating in Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games. Joptimiz supported vehicle and activity registration and control. Itineriz combined event constraints with traffic rules to compute available routes. The applications needed responsive local infrastructure during a fixed, high-profile event window.
A Paris region built by Quave ONE
Quave ONE created a custom region in Paris using OVH Cloud and provided the deployment and DevOps layer around the applications. ALLOHOUSTON built the applications; Quave ONE handled the infrastructure, including custom machines, high availability and horizontal scaling.
The region gave the ALLOHOUSTON team the same deployment workflow used across other public and private regions while placing this workload in France. That let the application team concentrate on the event tools rather than running the underlying platform.
Published event results
The source reports that Joptimiz registered and validated 45,800 vehicles and that the tools received more than 150,000 visits. Those figures describe this Olympic Games engagement, not a forecast for another infrastructure project.
“Filipe Névola and his team have helped us a lot on this matter. Their technical support is amazing and the reactivity is incredible (especially given the time zone difference). I highly recommend working with them!”
